Series of Coordinated Attacks
A succession of terrorist attacks by Boko Haram bloodied Cameroon’s Far North between November 10 and 12, 2024. The terrorist group demonstrated its ability to simultaneously strike multiple targets, both military and civilian.
Assault on Tolkomari
The most significant attack occurred in Tolkomari, where terrorists:
- Burned down a gendarmerie post
- Killed one civilian and wounded three others
- Destroyed several homes
- Stole livestock belonging to villagers
The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) responded, managing to eliminate four members of the terrorist group.
Widespread Violence in the Region
Neighboring departments were not spared:
- Mayo-Sava
- Logone-et-Chari
- Mayo-Tsanaga
The toll is particularly heavy in these areas, with eleven civilians killed in various attacks.
